Springer Family Brands began in 2007 when founder Paul Springer launched Sea Salt Superstore from Everett, Washington. What started as a passion for premium, natural sea salts quickly grew into something much larger — a mission to build brands that genuinely serve their customers while creating opportunity for the people and communities around them.

The Pacific Northwest shaped our identity from the very beginning. The region's spirit of independence, its connection to the natural world, and its tradition of craftsmanship became the foundation upon which every brand in our portfolio was built. From the volcanic salts of the Himalayan range to the spice blends inspired by Seattle's vibrant food scene, each product carries a piece of that origin story.

Nearly two decades later, the Springer family continues to lead with the same conviction: that a business can be both successful and purposeful — that serving customers well and lifting up the people around you are not competing goals, but complementary ones.

The Beginning

Sea Salt Superstore is founded in the Pacific Northwest, establishing the foundation for what would become a family of brands dedicated to premium salt products.

2010

Caravel Gourmet Launches

The award-winning gourmet sea salt brand is born, bringing artisan finishing salts, infused collections, and curated gift sets to food enthusiasts nationwide.

2015

Expanding Horizons

The portfolio grows with Healthy Himalaya and Seattle Spice Company, broadening our reach into wellness products and Pacific Northwest spice blends.

2018

Industrial Division Forms

Sasquatch Rock Salt launches as our first industrial brand, bringing natural, pet-safe deicing solutions to the Pacific Northwest market.

2020

Diversification

Aura Soaks, Aqua Flow, and Witches & Wiccan join the portfolio, extending our expertise in salt and minerals into bath, water treatment, and spiritual wellness.

2023

Digital Initiatives

Springer Bucks and Family Spark launch as our first digital brands, bringing family values into technology with financial literacy tools and connection platforms.

2025

TiniCrostini Joins the Family

The gourmet recipe platform TiniCrostini becomes part of our culinary portfolio, offering 365 days of crostini inspiration to food lovers everywhere.
